RECAP - September 9th
Well, I wasn't able to get pictures from the last couple of gigs (and I do apologize). So, I guess I'll have to blog about them. I know words won't do justice for what pictures would do, but I'll give it a whirl.
Recap simply - both gigs were awesome!
Saturday, August 25th. The Willoughby Brewing Company was great as usual. The dance floor was hoppin all night long from the very first song to the very last song. Our Vibe dancers were shining - I really need to take some lessons! We saw some friends that we haven't seen in quite a while - it was really great to see all of you! Mike Winfield joined Mike Orlandi, Chris Peck, and Joey Acerra for a truly incredible horn section experience. We're looking forward to the Halloween Bash on Wednesday, October 31st. We'll keep you posted on details for the big party!
Saturday, September 8th. The Lake County Perchfest was an exceptional evening! We would like to thank the Perchfest and Lake County Visitors Bureau for having us back again - we truly enjoy this event. Another huge thank you to Mark Jay from Abby Normal for setting up in a hurry and doing a fantastic job as usual on sound. The weather was gorgeous through fireworks. Then the rain came and everyone packed into the tent (it was a bit steamy) for our last set - the whole tent was a rockin. The beer tent people were delivering drinks on trays throughout the tent - the party continued on! The crowd was invigorating and really into the music and dancing. The kids were having a blast and truly enjoyable to watch. It was fun to get out on the dance floor with everyone!
Our next gig is on the islands - Friday and Saturday, September 28th & 29th. We'll be at the Boathouse on Put-in-Bay each evening starting at 9pm and who knows where during the day celebrating the 1/2-way to St. Patrick's Day Bash on the island. Come on out and party with the Vibe!
